AttendWell
AttendWell is a workshop check-in app. Participants tap their name on an iPad at the door, and the organiser sees who has arrived on a Mac as it happens.
Who it is for
People who run workshops, training sessions and small events, and want a register that participants fill in themselves when they arrive.
How a check-in works
- On your Mac, create a workshop in the AttendWell organiser app and paste or import the participant list.
- Start check-in. The organiser app opens its own connection and shows a QR code.
- On the iPad, open AttendWell and scan the code to pair it with your Mac.
- Participants tap their name and confirm. You see each arrival in the organiser app straight away. If the connection drops, the iPad keeps the check-ins and sends them when it returns.
Downloads
- AttendWell for Mac — the organiser app, for Macs with Apple silicon. Signed and notarised.
- AttendWell for iPad source — the door app. There is no public iPad download or App Store listing. TestFlight testing is private. The source is open, so a developer can build, sign and distribute it to iPads independently. The app has a Try a demo option with made-up names, so you can see the check-in screens without an organiser app.
What you need
- A Mac with Apple silicon and an internet connection, running the organiser app.
- An iPad for the door, running the iPad app built from the source above.
Your data
Participant names stay on your computer. The iPad holds the names of the current workshop while it is paired. Nothing is sent to the author or to any server of his, and there are no accounts, analytics or tracking. The privacy page has the details. If something does not work, see support.
